Hello Everyone,

I have a seven years old Intergas Combi HRE 24/18 boiler installed in my home. Overall, it is a good boiler, as I have not faced any major issue. Well, my concern is some loud & weird sounds coming from the boiler’s pipes. I feel quite uncomfortable due to these sounds. Someone, please help me on urgent basis.

These weird sounds are regarded as a clear sign of kettling. In general, an insufficient pressure of water, faulty thermostat and limescale buildup are the common reasons behind this issue. Do take it seriously, as all these can develop persistent issues in the boiler’s central heating system. Furthermore, these sounds can also be heard in case of pump failure and low water pressure. It is better to call a proficient boiler engineer for detailed investigation.
