Intergas Compact Combi 36/30 boiler error code 29/30

I have installed an Intergas compact combi 36/30 boiler two years ago. It worked well, but now it is displaying a 29/30 error code from last six days. I have restarted the boiler many times but no visible difference. Furthermore, gas supply is not present at the burner. What should I do? Please share your valuable suggestions

Thanks a lot

Nick

Hi Nick,

According to the Intergas, compact combi 36/30 boiler use guide a 29/30 fault code means “gas valve relay faulty”. The purpose of the gas valve is to control the flow of gas, which is being needed by the pilot light and burner. Sometimes, it becomes faulty and consequently it fails to work properly. However, the following are some other possible reasons behind this problem:

  1. Jammed valve
  2. Damaged PCB
  3. Defective connections
  4. Out of order unit

It is better to get help from a qualified boiler engineer for correcting or either replacing a damaged gas valve.
